吉田佳道 竹工展

雄大な北アルプスを望む長野県・安曇野市にて竹工品を制作する吉田佳道さんの展覧会を開催いたします。​
吉田さんの作品は、竹という素材のしなやかさを生かした稜線と造形豊かなフォルムが印象的です。
​竹ひご作りに始まり、編み上げ、漆による仕上げに至るまで、すべての工程を一貫して丁寧な手作業で行っています。​
竹が持つ清らかで凛とした空気感は、吉田さんの手によってかたちを変えることで、より洗練され、花や食材をやさしく包み込みます。
​今展では、これからの季節に涼を添える花籠を中心に、菓子器やコースター、茶籠や茶筅筒など、暮らしの中でお使いいただけるさまざまな作品を出展いただきます。

We are pleased to present an exhibition by bamboo artist Yoshimichi Yoshida, who creates his works in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture, a region nestled at the foot of the majestic Northern Alps. Yoshida’s bamboo pieces are known for their supple lines and sculptural forms, which embody the inherent elegance of the material itself. From the making of bamboo strips to the intricate weaving and lacquer finishing, every step is meticulously carried out by hand. The serene and dignified presence of bamboo is not lost through transformation—instead, it becomes even more refined through Yoshida’s craftsmanship, gently embracing flowers, food, and the tools of daily life.This exhibition will feature a selection of refreshing floral baskets ideal for the coming season, along with confectionery trays, coasters, tea baskets, and tea whisk holders. We invite you to experience Yoshida’s vision of bringing the quiet beauty of bamboo into everyday living.
