大村 剛 陶磁器展

福岡県うきは市で作陶される陶芸家・大村剛さんの展覧会を開催いたします。
大村さんの作品は、陶器でありながら金属のような質感を持つ独自の造形とテクスチャーが特徴です。
着色と焼成を繰り返すことで生まれるテクスチャーは一見無機質にも見えますが、遊び心のある造形により、どこかいきいきとした表情を見せます。
今回は、黒釉や鮮やかな色絵シリーズを中心に、皿、カップ、ポット、片口、花器など、多彩な作品が展示されます。

We are pleased to announce an exhibition by Takeshi Oomura, a potter based in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture. His works are characterized by their unique shapes and textures that resemble aged metal. This distinctive texture is achieved through a process of repeated coloring and firing. While the texture may appear inorganic at first glance, the playful forms imbue the pieces with a lively expression. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of items, including plates, bowls, cups, teapots, pouring vessels, and vases, with a focus on black-glazed and vibrantly colored pieces. We invite you to experience Oomura’s modern and sculptural works firsthand.
