小林千恵 陶磁器展

自然の造形からインスピレーションを得て、白磁のうつわを生み出す小林千恵さん。
近年は茶道や中国茶を学びながら、茶のための器づくりにも取り組まれています。
日々の暮らしの中で、器は使われているときは静かに寄り添い、使われていないときは彫刻のように佇む。
そんな存在であってほしいという想いのもと、小林さんの手から生まれる作品たち。
本展では、新たな試みとして絵付けを施した作品も発表。
「虫食い」シリーズの中国茶器をはじめ、ティーカップ＆ソーサー、プレートなど、多彩な作品をご紹介します。

Chie Kobayashi creates white porcelain vessels inspired by natural forms. In recent years, while studying both the Japanese tea ceremony and Chinese tea culture, she has been dedicating herself to crafting vessels specifically for tea. In everyday life, a vessel quietly accompanies its user when in use and stands like a sculpture when at rest. With this vision in mind, she brings her works to life. For this exhibition, she presents a new approach with hand-painted designs. The collection includes a variety of pieces, such as Chinese teaware from her “Mushikui” (insect-eaten) series, teacups and saucers, and plates. We invite you to explore her latest creations.
