紀平 佳丈 長谷川 清吉 木と金属の調和

紀平佳丈さん（木工作家）と長谷川清吉さん（金工作家）の二人展を開催します。紀平さんは愛知県豊田市で手作業で木を削り出し、柔らかな曲線と温もりを持つ器やお盆、花器を制作しています。長谷川さんは名古屋市で、伝統的な金工技術を受け継ぎつつ、現代的な感覚を取り入れた精緻な金属の造形美と心を打つデザインが特徴です。二人は美術大学進学のための予備校で出会い、長年にわたり切磋琢磨してきました。素材は異なりますが、二つの素材が合わさることで、それぞれの作家が持つ美しさと温かみが増します。木と金属の美しい調和をお楽しみください。

We are pleased to present a two-person exhibition featuring Yoshitake Kihira(woodwork artist) and Seikichi Hasegawa (metalwork artist). Kihira, based in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, meticulously carves wood by hand to create vessels, trays, and vases with gentle curves and a warm presence. Hasegawa, working in Nagoya City, carries on traditional metalworking techniques while incorporating a contemporary sensibility, crafting pieces characterized by refined metallic beauty and striking design. The two artists first met at an art school preparatory course and have since spent years honing their skills together. Though they work with different materials, the fusion of wood and metal enhances the unique beauty and warmth of each. We invite you to experience the exquisite harmony of these two elements.
