100種類以上の全国、世界のお茶を旅するように楽しむ「Tea For Peace-05 」

第5回目を迎えるお茶の祭典「Tea For Peace」が3年ぶりとなる2023年11月11日（土）、12日（日）に国連大学中庭で2日間開催が決定しました。会場には全国、世界から100種類以上のお茶が集まります。お茶の新たな楽しみ方を提案する「フレーバーマップ」を見ながらその時の気分やそれぞれのお茶の持つキャラクターをベースに新しい方法で一人一人の好みに合うお茶を探すことができます。
恒例の飲み比べでは、オリジナルカップを片手に会場内のお茶を制限なく楽しむことも。日本茶や紅茶、中国茶やハーブ、スパイスティに到るまで、誰もが幅広く楽しめるお茶の時間を提案します。

Our fifth “Tea For Peace,” an event that celebrates tea, will be held over two days on September 14th & 15th, 2019 (Sat & Sun) at the United Nations University. Tea makers, tea producers and tea drinkers will gather with over 100 varieties of tea from all over Japan and the world.

Tea For Peace’s original “Flavor Map” returns for this event. With this map on event day, you can find the perfect tea for any situation, for any person, based on the characteristics of each tea.
For those looking for more, you can experience the diversity of tea through tea parties, the “Common Space”, and workshops based around tea wares and tea sweets. 

Join in on the tea tasting with our original tea cups in hand, a small tea cup or a larger “Gaiwan” (a Taiwanese lidded tea cup). With our original cup, try as many teas as you’d like. Japanese tea, Chinese tea, herbal tea, and even spice tea – explore a whole world of tea in these two days.

台湾で買い付けた、磁器製のオリジナル茶杯を片手に会場内で100種類以上のお茶を飲み比べることができます。お茶の作り手や、淹れ手から普段は聞けない話を聞きながら、新しいお茶の楽しみ方を探すことができるかもしれません。

｜TOPIC2｜千人茶会

誰もが気軽に参加できる、開かれた茶会を会場内で同時多発的に開催します。どんなにお茶の淹れ方を研究しても、友人や家族、大切な人に淹れてもらうお茶には叶わないような気がします。愛のあるお茶こそが、ピースな世界を作ると信じて。肩の力を抜いて、そこにあるお茶とその時間をそれぞれに楽しんでください。

We will be holding multiple tea parties at the same time at the venue that anyone can easily participate in. Enjoy the tea and the time you have there.

｜TOPIC3｜お茶を体験する

熊本県を拠点に活動するchanowa主宰・出野尚子氏、静岡を拠点に活動するteteria・大西進氏、佐賀県を拠点に活動する余韵によるそれぞれの茶会が開かれます。2日間だけの小さな茶室でお茶の時間を楽しんで頂けます。

Based in Kumamoto, tea master ‘chanowa’ Naoko Ideno will hold a series of tea parties at the two-day event. This is just one of the many exclusive tea parties and tea workshops available over the weekend. Experience another side of tea culture through tea wares, tea sweets and more.
