The main building to the north and a Japanese-style building to the south are connected by a hall and garden. In the living room of the main building, which faces the garden, a blazing fireplace makes one forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The Japanese-style building is constructed in the traditional sukiya style. It is hard to imagine an interior more welcoming to guests.東京都設計＝横内敏人建築設計事務所施工＝興石、西武建工写真＝小川重雄表庭の家南北に長い敷地に建つ二世帯住宅。北側の主屋と南側の和室棟を廊下と庭がつなぐ。庭に面した主屋リビングでは、暖炉の炎が都会の喧騒を忘れさせてくれる。和室棟は伝統的な数寄屋造り。来客をもてなすには、これ以上ない空間である。22
