三野直子 硝子展

現代ガラス工芸の町、富山市でガラスの器を制作される三野直子さんの展覧会を開催いたします。
三野さんの作品は、透き通ったガラスの表面に繊細な模様が浮かび上がり、静かな佇まいの中にも柔らかな華やかさがあります。
表面に施された凹凸模様は、ボンドで下絵を描いてからサンドブラストを当てることにより生まれます。
下絵は全てフリーハンドで描かれており、制作にかける膨大な時間、作品への熱量が伝わります。
日常使いのグラスやお皿、茶道具など、淡く色付いた作品も出展いただきます。

We are pleased to announce an exhibition by Naoko Mino, a glass artist based in Toyama, the town of contemporary glass. Her glass works are embossed with sophisticated pattern. The clear transparent glass together with translucent lines makes her works look elegant. This kind of pattern is created by hand drawing with adhesive and then sandblasting. The process takes a lot of time and effort that you could feel artist’s passion from those works. This time artist will bring us glass wares for daily use and tea set. Also, colorful glass works will be on show.
